As an update to our article about Sony DCR-SX41 or simply Sony SX41 camcorder, here is the recording time of Memory Stick PRO Duo (which can be used to expand its storage capacity. For those who are interested in Sony DCR-SX41 or have already purchased one, you need to know this. If you think the 8GB built-in memory of Sony SX41 is already adequate, then that’s fine. Else, get a Memory Stick Pro Duo to add memory to your Sony DCR-SX41 camcorder. This will ensure that you will record longer video footage in a single session without copying the video files to your computer just to free up some space in your Memory Stick.

As you see, the video quality or picture quality mode affects the length of videos you can shoot with Sony DCR-SX41. Choose the video quality that’s right for the occasion and determine the free space in your removable storage media before shooting videos with your camcorder. It will help if you have a backup Memory Stick in your pockets or camcorder kits before doing any video shoot.
