Excellent camcorder for the price range. Provides great battery life (three hours) and produces very good quality standard definition video in normal to bright conditions. The camcorder does not do well in low lighting conditions as the minimum lux is 3. This can make the picture grainy and not clear. The camcorder does fairy well recording audio as well. The menus are straightforward and very logical. The recording feature for uploading to YouTube is easy to use and transferring the video to YouTube is simple to do.

The Samsung SC-MX20 is a bit below the competition in performance. With trouble recording in low light (and sometimes in very bright light), this camcorder also struggles a bit when filtering noise from the audio portion of the recording. The camera is easy to use. Holding the camera is easy and the swivel grip makes filming a positive experience. The menus are straightforward and easy to navigate and the controls are well placed and easy to get to. This is a very good camera for someone who wants to record a lot of video and put it straight onto YouTube.
