Samsung has come with two new shooters, styled as the SL202 and the SL30. With the launch of these two user-friendly digital cameras which offer 10 mega-pixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom and Digital Image Stabilization to reduce blur while capturing digital images, Samsung has announce the expansion of its SL-Series of digital cameras.

Fashioned with a stylish, brushed metal finish, the refined and compact SL202 has the ability to record high quality MJPEG video at VGA resolution with a frame rate of 30fps. Powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery its automatic features include Samsung’s new Smart Auto mode and Smart Album program which helps the user capture images with ease. Face Detection, Blink Detection, Smile Shot and Beauty Shot for effortless snapping of digital images are its quintessential features.

Videos & photographs can be viewed on the 2.7-inch LCD screen once they are captured in the frame of this digicam. While in the movie mode, the users need not save the clip to pause before recommencing recording video.

While the SL30 digital camera is powered by AA alkaline batteries, the entry-level shooter supports MJPEG and VGA files for video recording. It is equipped with Beauty Shot and Face Detection which enables the users to select as many as nine faces. Its 2.5-inch LCD screen allows users to preview photos and videos.

The SL820 features 28mm wide angle lens, whereas the SL620 comes with a standard 35mm lens.
