The Panasonic HDC-SD20 is an example of 3 models designed by the company to try and appeal to the more budget-conscious entry-level mpeg recorder user. With an MSRP of $550, it’s many hundred greenbacks more cost-effective than many models from the contest.
What you save in cash you also sacrifice in video quality. The SD20 can not quite struggle with more expensive models like the Canon HF20. What it does offer is an incredibly intuitive and rewarding experience for newbies.
The SD20 comes supplied with a smooth touch-sensitive screen interface, responsive automated image adjustments, and Panasonic’s highly publicized Intelligent automobile ( iA ) technologies.
The AF / AE Tracking and optical image stabilization are 2 highlights of a lengthy list of effective and easy-to-use vehicle features. If you are ready to forgo some more sophisticated add-ons and skimp on performance, you might save a little money and finish up with a camcorder that is fun and simple to use.
Sleek, black contours are easy on the eyes and straightforward in the hand. Poorly placed microphone is simply scuffed by stray fingers.
